Etnia Barcelona Vintage is the celebrities’ favourite style

Last Saturday we saw Brad Pitt at the Austin F1 circuit, wearing the Fremont 17 model from Etnia Barcelona’s Vintage collection!

Although we’ve already seen Brad Pitt on other occasions wearing models like the Soder from the Vintage collection, this time he didn’t hesitate to wear this icon from the Etnia Barcelona collection this weekend on his visit to the Texas circuit where he’s preparing his next film about the world of Formula 1.

The actor took advantage of his visit to get to know all the secrets of the circuit and the paddocks and meet with all the Formula 1 team bosses and with the driver Lewis Hamilton, who is the producer of the film and did not take off his glasses at any time.

Etnia Barcelona’s Vintage collection is a diverse collection that fuses classic looks with the brand’s free spirit. Classic vintage-inspired shapes are re-edited to create iconic shapes full of details that make each model in this collection a jewel.

Metal temples designed with Art Deco motifs and classic vintage embellishments in the form of coloured dots and golden pins that give them a sophisticated touch. Etnia Barcelona recovers shapes, materials and lenses from the 50s and 60s to create this unique collection.

Etnia Barcelona is proud to present a selection of new models for its Vintage collection, again paying tribute to the vibes of the 1930s-1960s where we saw the coming together of celebrities, beaches, hotels and locals along the Catalan Empordà Coast.

We’re growing the Vintage Collection with 8 new models of prescription glasses and 5 new sunglasses in acetates that merge that classical look with the free spirit of the brand. Classical, vintage inspired shapes reedited to create icons just brimming over with details which make a real jewel out of every single model in the collection. Metal temples designed with Art Decco motifs and classical Vintage trim with dots of colour and gilded pins which differ from model to model to add a touch of sophistication to the collection. Once again, Etnia Barcelona returns to the forms, materials and lenses of the 1950s and 60s to create its Vintage Collection.

Natural acetates recovered from the Mazzucchelli production sites in classical colours. Blacks, havanas, tortoiseshell, and carey, all alongside more contemporary colours like bottle green, maroon (granate) or honey are mixed with the acetates dreamed up by the Etnia Barcelona Design Team for the inner faces of the glasses, like the mythical “socks” of the Vintage Collection.
