Golden Goose Launches Dreamed By Quannah Chasinghorse Collection

After celebrating the first HAUS of Dreamers event with a unique night of immersive performances taking place in the heart of Venice, Italy on May 22^nd, Golden Goose launches its second Dreamed By collection with Native-American Land Protector and Model, Quannah Chasinghorse.

HAUS is a global cultural platform that unleashes creativity and will be a new home for the brand’s community of dreamers. A place that unites creatives of multiple disciplines, identities, and backgrounds that will lay its roots in Marghera, the industrial port of Venice, Italy. With HAUS of Dreamers, a series of global events, Golden Goose brings the physical experience of HAUS outside of its homebase Marghera to key destinations around the globe.

For its first HAUS of Dreamers in Venice, Golden Goose tapped five world-class multifaceted artists from different fields: Fabio Novembre, Quannah Chasinghorse, Dr. Woo, SUNMI, and Suki Waterhouse. The brand asked each artist to reinterpret classic Venetian icons in their own personal way, resulting in limited-edition collections. Each artist co-dreamed a footwear item, a ready-to-wear piece, and a unique object linked to the artists’ Venetian experiences.

The Dreamed by Quannah Chasinghorse Collection of three pieces focuses on inclusivity and responsibility, just like Quannah’s life. The collection represents an authentic reminder that We are Nature and that protecting it means protecting ourselves.

Starting from the classic Venetian gold leaf wooden frames, Quannah designs a touching work of art using a classic Venetian icon: a 1 OF 30 limited-edition frame that encases the handwritten poem she wrote and recited during her striking performance on the Rialto Bridge in Venice.

Accompanying the collectible art piece is a versatile short dress in organic cotton featuring the phrase: We are Nature. across the front. This adjustable garment features embroidered cutting lines at the hips and around the armholes; the lines allow the garment to be customized, offering a choice of dress, oversized T-shirt or tank top – making it a unique piece, inclusive in all its facets.

The collection also includes a pair of Sky-Star sneakers made from Bio-Based Yatay B material with laces in the colors of the Lakota Star, a nod to Quannah’s roots. The responsible pair of Sky-Star sneakers are accompanied by the message Protect Nature across the back – a mantra that drives her vision and is meant to inspire our Global community of Dreamers.
